Hey there! Originally from the lively streets of Washington, D.C., I've swapped city buzz for the quaint calm of Northern Alabama. Living the dream here with my amazing spouse of 28 years and our two awesome, quirky kids who light up my life every day!

I've always been crazy about stuffed animals and dolls. Imagine little me, holed up in my room, creating epic adventures where every doll and stuffed animal was a character in some magical story. They weren’t just toys; they were my first friends in a universe of my own making.

Who do I have to thank for this wild imagination? My incredible mom. She wasn't just our mom—she was our inspiration, pushing my brother and me to explore every form of art from painting to writing. We grew up with our hands full of paintbrushes and pencils, diving headfirst into all things creative.

Crochet came into my life thanks to mom too, around when I was 10 or 11. Each yarn loop she taught me was more than just a stitch—it was a lesson in patience, sparking my imagination, and feeling the love of our cozy family.
